Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Shelton, Washington. These are registry positions with our company.

40 hours travel package

Weekly Gross Pay – $1200

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable): $30

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed - goes to the net pay - $1043

Total Weekly ($1043 is not taxed) - $2243

Feels like per hour = $56.08

$2243 div 40 hours = $56.08

36 hours travel package

Weekly Gross Pay - $ 1,116

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed - goes to the net pay - $931

Total Weekly (931 is not taxed) - $2,047

Feels like per hour - $56.86

$2,047 div 36 hours = $56.86

Shift Details:

  • Wed - Sat 0700-1630

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of Washington

  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

  • Ability to build rapport with patients

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients

  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior

  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

  • Maintain accurate patient medical records

  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
