Salary:                        $225,498/year to $266,420/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

 

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:

 

Own entire product spaces or work on projects that encompass multiple features and are broad/ambiguous in scope. Build and ship applications or software at the level of end-to-end features or products across a variety of platforms. Design large scale digital products, and design new experiences, interactions, and interfaces. Evolve and/or define design systems for web and mobile applications and technologies with a focus on aesthetics and visual design. Take broad, conceptual ideas or high-level problems and deliver product vision, develop end-to-end UX flows and experiences that are simple and solve user needs. Partner with stakeholders to provide product direction, define goals, build roadmaps, and solve the right problems in product area. Represent product team to executive leadership or in XFN forums. Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content designers to iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise bar for quality. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Mentor designers or interns, participate in design-team-wide initiatives like interviewing, recruiting, workshops, design system standards, and improving design tools.

 

Requirements:

 

Requires a Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following: 1. Building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features or products across a variety of platforms; 2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs; 3. Prototyping: creating click-through prototypes for user testing and demos/eng testing; 4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography; 5. Product thinking, including understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users and company; 6.
