As part of a hardworking team of diverse HR professionals, you will use your full spectrum of HR experience to influence success within your business teams and across Blue Origin. You'll create, scale, and execute company-wide HR programs and practices and partner with key stakeholders to advance complex people, organizational, cultural, and leadership objectives. This role will require strategic thinking, a tenacious drive for results, and the ability to quickly and earn trust, credibility, and respect. In partnership with senior leaders, managers, employees, and HR COEs, the core responsibilities include: Provide HR guidance in the areas of performance management, staffing, compensation, employee engagement, organizational design, talent management, and organizational change in alignment with organizational objectives. Provide counsel and mentorship to front-line management on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Demonstrate strong discernment and understanding of key business priorities facing the organization. Where possible, engage with frontline employees to understand challenges, perspectives, and potential impact of decisions. Support HR and business leaders in driving people strategies and initiatives aligned with the business unit goals and objectives. Leverage data and HR competence to influence action, support decision-making, and root cause assessments. Facilitate training on topics such as conflict management, communication, workplace civility, team dynamics, leadership, and/or foundational management practices We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Qualifications: Ability to coach, mentor others, and support professional-client groups. Resilient and flexible mindset willing and able to quickly adjust to constant change. Excellent diplomacy and judgment when handling routine as well as emotionally charged situations. Deep understanding of HR functions, policies, best practices, and employment law. 3+ years of broad, progressive responsibility in a professional HR role with at least two years in an HR Generalist capacity. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or another closely related field, or equivalent work or education experience required. Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis. Proficient PC skills, with the ability to learn new software. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Master's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, organizational psychology, leadership, or other related program from an accredited university or college.
