Workday, Inc. Executive Communications Lead, Customer Experience & Global Revenue in Seattle, Washington

Your work days are brighter here.

At Workday, it all began with a conversation over breakfast. When our founders met at a sunny California diner, they came up with an idea to revolutionize the enterprise software market. And when we began to rise, one thing that really set us apart was our culture. A culture which was driven by our value of putting our people first. And ever since, the happiness, development, and contribution of every Workmate is central to who we are. Our Workmates believe a healthy employee-centric, collaborative culture is the essential mix of ingredients for success in business. That's why we look after our people, communities and the planet while still being profitable. Feel encouraged to shine, however that manifests: you don't need to hide who you are. You can feel the energy and the passion, it's what makes us unique. Inspired to make a brighter work day for all and transform with us to the next stage of our growth journey? Bring your brightest version of you and have a brighter work day here.

About the Team

Employee & Executive Communications is a team of storytellers and strategic advisors to internal partners who engage Workmates across the globe to drive business impact. We actively support executive communications that promote Workday's bold growth trajectory, and we're excited to be at the center of driving important change across the company: nurturing our values-driven culture, driving a growth mindset while elevating Workday's reputation, and building Workday acuity and ambassadorship.

About the Role

It's an exciting time to be at Workday! We're actively seeking the right talent to help us achieve our bold growth goals, scale the company and cultivate our outstanding culture. Workday is shaping the future of work, and we're seeking a strong communications leader who can partner with three top executives to help us effectively tell our customer experience and go-to-market story across a diverse set of audiences, including employees, customers, partners, analysts, shareholders and influencers.

This is a highly visible and strategic role that will partner with Workday's Chief Customer Officer; Workday's Co-President and head of Global Revenue; and Workday's President of Global Sales. The ideal individual for this role will have demonstrated enterprise SaaS experience and fully understand the go-to-market engine behind an enterprise software company--including how enterprise software products and services are generally sold and deployed. A proven track record to write clearly and with impact for multiple channels (keynotes, videos, organizational emails, blogs, and more) is critical. Other skills include the ability to forge strong relationships with executives and their leadership teams, capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to prioritize at the same time. And since Fun is one of Workday's core values, a sense of humor and the ability to not take oneself too seriously are also highly valued traits. Ready to learn more?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive a strategic, mostly external, executive communications program for Workday's Chief Customer Officer; Workday's Co-President and head of Global Revenue; and Workday's President of Global Sales, in partnership with PR, marketing, events, social media, employee communications, and AR.

Together with PR, develop executive thought leadership platforms and engagement strategies.

Work hands-on with executives and other key partners to plan, write, edit, and distribute a variety of different communication materials including blogs, video scripts, keynotes, etc.

Drive keynote development and be a strategic adviser to the executives on messaging, tone and speaker delivery.
