100% Remote Software Engineer Opportunity!

Job Description:

My client is looking for a Software Engineer who specializes in C++ and RTOS to join their Aerospace team. You will be responsible for working with an organization that builds satellites and space systems for a wide variety of government and commercial customers. Its products include high-powered direct-to-home broadcast satellites, commercial weather satellites, digital audio radio satellites, Earth observation satellites and spot-beam satellites for data networking applications.

Responsibilities Include:

• C++ embedded real-time development for VxWorks

• Developing flight software for satellite communication, networking, SpaceWire, cFS (core flight software), handling of low level communication with payload

• Unit testing of code (must be willing to do both development and testing)

• 5545 chipset development

Top Skills:

• C/C++ RTOS experience

• Flight Software experience

Additional Responsibilities:

• 1 role will be focused on VxWorks and maintenance of AWS Kernel across development environments and use of 5545 Errate chipset (Junior-Mid Level role)

• 1 role will be focused on low level HW/SW implementation of a multicore processor and 5545 chipset

• 2 roles will be focused on Layer 3 network architecture)

• 1 role will be focused on SpW router manager, FIPs/crypto SW framework

• 1 role will be focused on VxWorks supporting development for DSU, MP IO, SDM
