GE Healthcare Product Sales Specialist - Maternal Infant Care (New England) in Remote, Connecticut

Job Description Summary

As a Product Sales Specialist for Maternal Infant Care you are responsible for maintaining existing business and growing market share in the New England Market (CT,RH, NH, and ME). Your responsibility includes selling the MIC portfolio to RN Directors, Clinical Engineers and IT. This would include working with your strategic directors to expand footprint in your territory. In addition you would work within the GEHC PCS team to deliver solutions to our customers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales within a geographic area responsible for selling product(s), services, and solutions within the MIC space in a hospital.

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.

  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for a project, product line, market, sales process or customers. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

  • A job at this level is an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues, customers, leadership and the business about the MIC business. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3+ years of experience in Capital Sales Equipment

  • 2+ Years of experience in hospital medical sales
