Job Description:

As a hands-on Manager of Data Quality at Bell Partners Inc., you will have a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our data assets and ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Hands-on coding in SQL writing stored procedures, views and ad hoc reports.

• Hands-on coding in ETL, preferably Azure Data Factory (or SSIS)

• Mentoring, training, and developing technical resources within the Data Architecture team

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage data quality initiatives.

• Conduct data validation, identify data gaps, and to understand/clarify/fix.

• Cross-validate and quality-check data outputs from offshore resources.

• Utilizing Scrum methodology to plan and execute data quality projects, including sprint planning, ceremonies, and user story development.

• Conducting, hands-on, SQL querying and analysis to validate and enhance data quality.

• Writing pipelines to ingest data into Enterprise Datawarehouse using Azure Data Factory

• Developing and implementing data quality metrics, KPIs, and best practices.

• Monitoring and reporting on data quality from development through to production.

• Leading a team of data quality professionals and providing guidance and mentorship.

• Identifying and resolving data quality issues and driving continuous improvement.

• Lead business process reviews including but not limited to requirements gathering, business process flow mapping and documentation, and gap identification in existing processes.

• Support the creation of KPIs, business performance data, and customer information in Power BI.

• Performing User Testing as needed and maintaining testing documentation.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management).

•Experience as a team lead or managing technical staff is a must.

• Proficiency in T-SQL querying with MS SQL Server and database management is a must.

• Proficiency in ETL using Azure Data Factory is a must

• Experience working with Azure Cloud Databases is a must

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is required

• Experience with CI/CD automation is required

• Proven experience in a data quality management role

• Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and experience in Agile project management.

• Experience with data quality tools and best practices is a plus.

Education & Background

• BA or BS in Data Science/Data Analytics, Business, Computer, IT, Social Sciences, or related discipline. An advanced degree is a plus.

• 7-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, or Analytics.

• Strong knowledge of SQL is required.

• Strong knowledge of ETL development using Azure Data Factory is required

• Good knowledge of Power BI dashboard development is required

• Experience with implementing enterprise-wide data integrations and performing analyses.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 applications are required.

• Has experience with one or more reporting tools. (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau for example).

• Candidate must be a strong communicator and be comfortable dealing with clients at all levels.

• Experience with multi-family real estate property management systems and use of property technology-related data/systems.

• Experience with Yardi is a plus.
