How You’ll Make an Impact

The Material Handler fulfills customer orders through picking and packing filters, belts and wipers; receiving inbound deliveries; and using an RF scanner to perform inventory movements within the Company preferred ERP Systems. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Picking full pallets and preparing for shipment

  • Building individual pallets containing multiple products and preparing for shipment

  • Unloading inbound freight and staging in designated storage locations

  • Moving totes, drums, kegs, and pails using approved lift assist equipment

  • Preparing shipping documentation using company approved software programs

  • Housekeeping- removing plastic, cardboard (bailing), emptying trash and sweeping floors

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pick / pack experience in a line environment

  • RF scanner experience

  • Experience opening cartons, replenishing and picking product

  • Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs., while occasionally handling boxes that weigh 50 lbs.

  • Must have the ability to stand, squat, reach and walk between 8 - 10 hours per shift

  • Fork lift certification is ideal

  • Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail

  • Must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers

  • Prior computer skills preferred, including MS Office, Outlook, SAP, Proprietary shipping software programs, etc.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
