JCB Inc. Product Support Development Representative in Pooler, Georgia

Position Purpose

This position will primarily be responsible for developing new Agricultural dealers by providing technical product support and systems training. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring timely execution of onboarding new dealerships to the JCB Agriculture team, resolution of dealer system related issues, driving product support development initiatives and enhancing the overall dealer experience.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Help dealer understand and develop support for JCB products that meets or exceed JCB AG Dealer established metrics.
  • Evaluate new dealer locations and recommend facility improvements if needed, tooling requirements, and initial parts stocking.
  • Offer on-site or remote technical support to customers and dealerships regarding JCB agricultural equipment, troubleshooting product issues, and providing effective solutions that minimize downtime.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training sessions to dealerships and internal stakeholders, enabling them to diagnose and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Assist dealers with warranty policy training, implementation, and administration.
  • Ensure dealer personnel are trained and functional with JCB product support systems and tools.
  • Act as a liaison between dealerships and internal teams to relay product support requirements and communicate customer and dealer feedback for continuous product reliability.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product support training documentation, including technical SOPs, training videos, service bulletins and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in field testing activities to assess product reliability and performance in real-world conditions, documenting results, and providing timely feedback to development teams.
  • Assist in product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events to showcase JCB agricultural equipment and promote appositive brand image.

Nature and Scope

Reports to Distribution Growth Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 + years technical service experience with agricultural equipment
  • 2 + years of technical service/training experience within a related industry is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of agricultural equipment components, systems, and related diagnostics.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

  • Ability to give direction well
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to travel by car or air for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% nationally and internationally

Job Conditions:

  • Field, office and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
  • Subject to noise and temperature changes
