What’s a typical day as a Data Entry Operator? You’ll be:

• Processing work orders based on MRP outputs.

• Utilizing business system to generate/complete work orders in accordance with an established/approved production schedule and in compliance with established procedures.

• Closing work orders for Outside Sourcing Procedures (OSP) in the ERP system.

• Performing scrap / work order control transactions in Oracle.

• Assisting with the oversight of manufacturing’s compliance with the production schedule and may adjust the schedule based on inputs from production and the deletion of forecasted product once built.

• Providing scheduling information to customer service in support of backlog management and lead-time communication.

• Interfacing with the shipping departments to support the completion of shipment-related paperwork.

• Supporting the efficient operation of the manufacturing process by having all required labels prepared in a timely, accurate manner.

• Utilizing the system to print required labels, checking accuracy, readability, and compliance with all existing specifications prior to issuance.

• Reviewing the production schedule to determine projected label usage and utilizing Agile to ensure the correct revision of the labels are being used.

• Maintaining the label production area in a clean, orderly manner and operating all equipment in a safe manner.

• Reporting any safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Complying with all policies and standards.

• Performing any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalency (preferred).

• Have 1-3+ years of experience/exposure to label production software (preferred).

• Have demonstrated experience/expertise in the use of an ERP inventory control system.

• Have a demonstrated ability to learn and use label production software.

• Are computer proficient.

• Are able to effectively problem solve.

• Have excellent customer service skills and consistently meet deadlines and commitments.

• Have strong oral communication skills and can effectively follow instructions and respond to leadership direction.

• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work and monitor your own work to ensure quality.

• Follow policies and procedures and seek ways to improve and promote quality.

• Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
