A Day in the Life

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II you will perform a variety of electro-mechanical tasks. Using judgment, experience, and specific training the Technician maintains and repairs manufacturing machinery and associated support equipment used to produce, inspect and sterilize products with minimal supervision.

You will work a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM on a rotation schedule of: 2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on. Shift differential rate included.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Inspect and repair production and support equipment, using mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum technologies.

  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and repairs or modifies equipment to improve performance.

  • Assist other technicians as directed.

  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance per established schedules.

  • Inspect and maintain tools and special equipment; assist in purchasing replacement parts.

  • Use hand, powered, and precision shop and test equipment and instruments to help ensure continuous production operations.

  • Observe standard and prescribed safety and good maintenance procedures and apply good housekeeping practices in work areas at all times.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

Nice to Have

  • Trade School / Electro-Mechanical education preferred.

  • Must have well-developed electro-mechanical skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in the English language.

  • Ability to lift considerable weight on an occasional basis.

  • Ability to safely use general maintenance hand tools and special equipment as required.

  • Thorough understanding of mechanical principles, industry maintenance practices and computer skills

  • Detail oriented, established learner, able to retain and apply complex technical information.

  • Ability to follow departmental and safety procedures.

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
