Elevance Health Security Program Mgr (US) in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana

The Security Program Mgr is responsible for working with business partners to manage physical security programs across the enterprise to define best practices and streamline processes which align with Global Security & Safety strategic initiatives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as single point of contact for security vendors regarding installation, service and preventative maintenance across the enterprise related to security system integrators and removing barriers during the development of technical solutions.

  • Identifies and coordinates the interdependencies among programs, products, and other critical initiatives across all security sub-departments within the organization.

  • Briefs management on the status of security issues, vendor compliance issues and physical security audit compliance.

  • Develops technical policy & procedure references and ensures they align with Global Security & Safety standards.

  • Serves as liaison with other department stakeholders for all security projects and as the company's security resource and security systems expert.

  • Manages the spend of capital funding for the security programs to ensure adherence to Global Security & Safety standards are applied to all sites.

  • Reviews scope of work changes to ensure consistency across the enterprise.

  • Provides training and guidance to security system administrators and project managers on strategic initiatives and Global Security & Safety standards.

  • Tracks and provides reporting and measurement of program effectiveness and communicates findings to management.

  • Responsible for all project related documents and ensures accuracy of vendor metrics are met to ensure proper ROI.

Requirements:

  • a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in delivering security operations; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with specialized closed circuit TV, access control systems, intrusion alarms, system drawings, incident reporting software and hardware strongly preferred.

  • Experience in program/project management is preferred.

  • Experience influencing others without having direct management authority and motivating them to successfully complete tasks within required timelines preferred.

  • A+, Network +, Security + Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification, Physical security software factory certifications or Honeywell Certification is strongly preferred.
