As a Maintenance Mechanic you will (among other things):
Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in our safety program
Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently
Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems
Willingness to fully cross-train in other technical areas of maintenance
Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently
Will work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives
Timely and accurate paperwork
What you need to succeed:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work overtime
Ability to effectively communicate and work on a team
Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills
Three years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
Must have a mechanical and preferred electrical background
Must be able to perform heavy lifting, twist, bend, squat and kneel repetitively for this position.
Candidates will undergo comprehensive testing and interviews. All offers of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and a background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
Corrugated/Box maintenance experience a plus
Professional license(s)
