Robert Half Financial Analyst in Eddystone, Pennsylvania

Description

If you want to work at a fast-growing company and consider yourself an outstanding candidate, you might be right for Robert Half's new Financial Analyst position. In this Financial Analyst position, you will be tasked with measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans and conducting financial modeling on a wide range of financial products. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. This Financial Analyst role, which is a permanent employment opportunity, is located in the Philadelphia area.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the accounting department in the closing process, ensuring operational expenditure has been reviewed and analyzed for errors or missing accruals.

  • Post Standard Journal entries, Recurring entries, and Ad hoc entries when needed.

  • Assist in the timely and complete creation of financial statements and monthly reports.

  • Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, communicating these to department Heads for further review or action.

  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast processes and formats.

  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

  • Provide financial analyses as needed, particularly for capital investments, operational expenditure, and Revenue.

  • Manage operational expenditure through monthly meetings with key stakeholders.

  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

    Requirements

The ideal Financial Analyst candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in systems, finance or accounting strongly preferred. CPA or CMA designation preferred.

Other requirements for the Financial Analyst position include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years finance/budgeting/forecasting experience

  • Experience in international logistics and/or marine terminals preferred

  • Advanced Excel (V lookups, pivot tables and advanced excel macros) experience

  • Outstanding communications, analytical, planning, data gathering, critical thinking and teamwork skills

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to achieve company goals
