JOB REQUIREMENTS: A field-based leadership position requiring the supervision and coordination of Sealcoating, Striping, flax Patching and Thermoplastic Snowmobile Crossing operations and crew. This crew performs pavement maintenance for residential, commercial, tennis courts, roads and highways. Responsibilities: Training Lead and direct the crew, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure the successful completion of projects. Oversee and promote employee training, mentoring, and development; assist foreman in addressing performance concerns as needed. Safety Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with safety policies and procedures. Monitor job site safety, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment. Perform pre-job inspection and layout. Comply, understand, and support safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment. Identify job site safety hazards and take corrective action to eliminate or minimize these concerns. Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition. Ensure equipment maintenance inspections are completed to maintain equipment in safe operating condition. Role Requirements Supervises the job and crew\'s activities. Communicates with Austin Pitlik regarding job progress, schedule management, material and trucking needs. Schedules and prepares needed equipment for jobs. Order material. Independently make decisions and solve front-line problems. Schedule, supervise, and evaluate the work as a supervisor of multiple crews or work units. Schedule and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines. Maintain equipment and ensure that all machinery is in excellent working condition. Keep crews accountable for safety and production rates and quality control. Maintain good client relations. Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completion. Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. Attendance required according to company attendance policy to ensure crew can operate at normal efficiency level. Attitude/Cooperation: Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public. Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Must pass drug test and criminal background check. Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies. Review and adhere to construction schedules, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met; communicate any deviations to project managers.
