Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Corona, California

Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills to join our team in the construction and contracting sector. The position is located in Corona, California, and will be part of a hybrid work model, with the possibility of more in-office work in the future. This short-term contract role involves managing customer complaints, liaising with dispatchers for solutions, and carrying out data entry and general office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage calls from customers with issues regarding their new home purchases, providing empathetic and comprehensive customer service.

• Direct customer complaints to dispatchers for resolution and ensure the issues are addressed.

• Record complaint details precisely in our computer system.

• Offer general office support, including processing orders, when working on-site.

• Operate effectively in a high-pressure environment, showcasing excellent critical thinking abilities.

• Apply basic computer skills to various tasks, such as managing a computerized phone system with a call queue.

• Perform efficiently in a call center setting, collaborating with a team of 4-5 colleagues.

• Maintain a quiet and detail-focused remote work setting with dependable high-speed internet to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills for professional and effective interactions with customers and colleagues.

• Utilize dispatching expertise to coordinate with dispatchers and ensure complaint resolution.

Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Basic Computer Skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software

• Experience with Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Critical Thinking skills, demonstrating ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Experience handling Inbound Telephone Calls, providing efficient and courteous customer service

• Knowledge of Dispatching procedures, coordinating and distributing tasks or resources

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
