This position is part of the Materials Quality Control Team located in Coralville, Iowa and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support manufacturing by ensuring product and process quality through a variety of analytical test methods.

  • Handle sample and reagent preparation in accordance with established SOPs for analytical and functional assays while maintaining detailed and accurate sample, product, and instrument records.

  • Operate multiple analytical instruments (ie. NMR, GC, UV-Vis, Mass Spec, Capillary Electrophoresis, RP-HPLC) and process and analyze data to make pass/fail decisions on tested materials.

Work Schedule: In this role you will be required to work Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 4:00pm. This role may also be eligible for overtime. The work schedule may be subject to change based on business need.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associate’s degree and two years of applicable experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Proficiency with computers and a variety of software in a windows-based environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred.

  • Experience working with analytical instrumentation preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
