Housing Specialist (CV898-219) - Safe Return Division

We are looking for a Housing Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Program Director and be an integral part of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Locate affordable permanent housing opportunities for clients residing in Volunteers of America Delaware Valley Housing & Supportive Services programs

• Be responsible for seeking housing resources and forming reputable relationships with housing providers to secure affordable permanent housing opportunities for clients

Credentials/Experience

• Bachelor's degree OR at least 5 years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing or human services

• Demonstrated ability and mastery of the following skills:

• verbal and nonverbal communication

• interpersonal skills

• customer service, sales or marketing and knowledge of the homeless population and the housing industry

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
