JOB REQUIREMENTS: ABC Supply Co. Inc. seeks an IT Product Owner to leverage technical knowledge and skills on how systems work and how code is built to effectively support engineering teams in delivering value. Utilize data background to create a roadmap and backlog that supports the initiatives for the team. Contribute to the development of a healthy product backlog, collaborating with other Product Owners, Engineering, and Solution Architects to break down business requirements, document user stories (including addressing things like technical debt, SRE, etc.), design details, and comprehensive acceptance criteria. Support internal backlog refinement sessions to prepare user stories for technical breakdown and planning and ensure requirements are well understood by the engineering teams. Partner with the Scrum Master on the project management aspects of the team (e.g., release planning, version reports, burnup/burndown charts, driving epics to done, etc.). Collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams and the Product Owner community and play a key role in key Agile and SAFe ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning). Support teams through escalation and resolution of impediments. Partner with DevOps to proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience, and performance for product(s) are not performing. Ensure teams are creating services that comply with overall platform architecture, security requirements, and designs for any consumer. 100% telecommuting role. Applicants must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Leading cross-functional teams on Data Analytics & Reporting Agile Release Train; Managing defect resolution process and release activities; Solution designing an innovation initiative to develop an Application Programming Interface (API) that allows any file to be generated ad-hoc from for internal customers; Gathering and analyzing the requirements, constructing Work Flow Diagrams (using MS Visio & draw.io); Determining operational objectives, studying business functions and evaluating output requirements & formats for the incoming data into DocumentDB and MySQL databases, and LeAP (Learning & Analytics Platform) Ecosystems; Using SAFe Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Kaizen Methodologies; Creating detailed user stories and tasks in JIRA to capture technical implementation details for business requirements; Performing financial data validation, data dictionary management, multi-level data analysis, and extract transform loading (ETL) processes to drive modernization of data management technology; and Running data validation tests across multiple environments within Hadoop Data Lake using Hive and Impala.
