Employee Relations Business PartnerThe Employee Relations Business Partner provides guidance and support to our organization and its employees. They have a deep understanding of employment laws and workplace policies and handle a variety of employee relations matters, addressing conflicts, advise on policies, and fostering respectful work environment.This position is a virtual (remote) position and can be located anywhere in the United StatesKey Responsibilities:Conduct Investigations and Ensure ComplianceInvestigate employee complaints and conflicts, ensuring resolutions are fair and timelyLead the interpretation of employee relations policies and procedures, disciplines, and terminations for non-union facilitiesPartner with labor relations experts when investigating union organized workforceCollaborate with Legal on complex casesProvide Consultation and GuidanceAdvise on investigations, performance issues, and ADA reasonable accommodation requestsMake critical assessment and recommendations, while collaborating with the appropriate SME (legal, global security, etc.)Liaise between employees and managers consulting on performance coaching (performance counseling, structured coaching, performance improvement plans)Knowledge of workers compensation and ADA accommodations processImprove Employee Experience:Serve as a confidential advisor to employees and managers on workplace mattersFacilitate training on investigations, ADA reasonable accommodations, and performance managementConduct case aftercare with employees to ensure issue resolution has been sustained over timeRequired Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field3 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR, Legal or relatedIn-depth knowledge of employment lawPreferred Experience and Qualifications:Demonstrated experience as an investigatorProficient in HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office SuiteCompetencies:Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when necessaryAbility to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet commitments.Adaptable to change and capable of leading in uncertain, fast-paced situations.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Excellent evaluation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way in written and verbal communications.Approximate base salary range: 77K-115KAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
